Mr. Costa brings approximately 20 years of litigation and transactional experience to the firm.  He worked in the litigation departments of Finley, Kumble, Wagner; Ervin, Cohen & Jessup and Leopold, Petrich & Smith before opening up his own firm.

In addition to his wide-ranging litigation work, Mr. Costa works with an array of entertainment and media clients in the capacity of general counsel, has represented talent and individuals in contract drafting and negotiations and has extensive transactional experience representing these clients.

Presently, Mr. Costa serves as a panel attorney for the California Lawyers for the Arts and a Judge Pro Tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court.  He has lectured at UCLA and through the Beverly Hills Bar Association on intellectual property and has been designated by the Los Angeles Lawyer/Los Angeles Magazine as a "Super Lawyer" for 2004 and 2005.  He has also frequently appeared on television shows in the U.S. and the United Kingdom as both a consultant and in connection with some of the cases he has handled.
